At 3 M.B. initial download, Silver Dollar Casino is smaller than Caribean Gold and English Harbours 4.5 M.B. Its also the least pretty in my opinion. However it does have its theme and some people may find it enticing. With only 1 less game than Carribean Gold, and considering the much smaller initial download, you may want to go with this for something quick. |

Carribean stud poker, though one of my favorite Casino games, is also one of the most volatile. The player stands to win a large sum of money in retrospect to the amount wagered; however losing large amounts can come just as easily. For this reason I reccomend playing stud poker only if you have a bank roll you can afford to lose, or have been winning on other games and have built up a bit of a cushion to fall back on.
Stud poker can also be one of the most exciting games in the Casino! The trick is knowing when to fold. I follow these general guidelines:
- Fold on any high card hand, regardless what the dealer is showing.
- Fold on any pair which is lower than the card the dealer is showing.
- When in any doubt, fold, staying in is what costs the big money, keep your chips for the big hands with the big payback.
- Playing the progressive is simple a matter of personnal taste, the possibility of getting a royal flush stud and having the dealer qualify at the same time is approximately 1,000,000,000 to 1. So never hope to win 100% of the jackpot, though the smaller winnings on the progressive is more possible, yet still the odds are against you. Only play the progressive if you're feeling lucky.

A great game to get started on if you don't want to lose a great deal but want to test your luck. In Chuck-A-Luck it is very important to watch previous dice rolls as in Roulette you watch where the ball has already landed. Statistics show everything likes to work its way back to the average. For example, on one 6 sided die you have a 16.7% chance to roll any number on the die. Roll the die 10 times and figure your averages. Then roll the die 90 more times and refigure averages. The more the die is rolled the closer you will get to the 16.7% average. This is a statistical fact.
So I like to use the previous die rolls as a hint as to what might be rolled next. I don't bet field, below 11, or above 10 much because theres not much reason to. Your chances on all three is exactly 50%, you win 1to1 odds, so if you have average luck you will walk away even. Occasionally I will bet one of them on the first roll just to get things moving, or if I get a wild hair to bet above 10, I'll bet the 1 as well. Likewise on below 11, I'll bet the 6 as well. This will give you better winning odds.
I find the best way to bet on Chuck-A-Luck is to bet a small amount on 2 numbers (sometimes 3 if theres some uncertainty). For example, if the first roll is a 3, 4, 6, for the next roll I will bet on 2 of the following:1, 2, or 5. At the beginning this may be quite a bit of guessing but as more die are rolled you can look up the chart and see what is low on its hit percentages, bet on those numbers. If a number is really far behind, occasionally I will take a larger stack of chips and bet on that number solely for a few rolls.
